AgMac dealers tune John Deere machinery right across Australia. We remap the factory engine control unit (ECU) — the same computer John Deere uses to sell one engine at several power outputs — so your machine is calibrated for the work you actually do, rather than a one-size-fits-all factory setting.
John Deere machines we tune
Our dealer network develops calibrations for a growing range of John Deere equipment, including:
- Row-crop and utility tractors (5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 Series)
- S-Series and T-Series combine harvesters
- Self-propelled sprayers and windrowers
- Construction and earthmoving equipment — loaders, excavators and dozers
If your model isn’t listed, talk to your nearest dealer — new John Deere engines are added to the AgMac database continually.
What a John Deere tune involves
Every calibration is matched to your specific engine and workload. Depending on the machine, a tune can lift usable power and torque, sharpen throttle response and drivability, and reduce fuel use for the same amount of work. Because we recalibrate the factory ECU rather than fit a plug-in box, the machine keeps working with its own electronics instead of having altered readings fed to it.
Emissions faults, diagnosed and repaired
AgMac dealers can also diagnose and repair emissions-system faults — blocked filters, fault codes and limp-mode issues — to get a John Deere machine running as it should. This is fault diagnosis and repair, not removal of emissions equipment.
